Dear Valued Client,

We wish to inform you of a significant update from the Bureau of Customs (BOC) that may positively impact your importation activities.

Effective soon, the BOC will extend the validity of importer accreditation from one (1) year to three (3) years, as part of its reform initiatives under Customs Administrative Order No. 07-2022

This move aims to streamline processes, reduce administrative burdens, and enhance transparency in customs operations.

Key Highlights:

  •  Automatic Renewal: Eligible importers will benefit from automatic renewal of their accreditation, subject to compliance with annual reporting requirements.
  • 📄 Annual Reportorial Compliance: Importers must submit an annual report 30 days before the anniversary of their accreditation. This report should include updates to business documents or information.
  • 💰 Updated Processing Fee: The accreditation fee will be adjusted from PHP 2,000 to PHP 5,000, valid for three years.
  • 📝 Revised Application Form: The form will include additional fields to improve data accuracy and compliance monitoring.

This reform is aligned with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to improve the ease of doing business and reduce opportunities for corruption in government.
